Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) of Australia is all set to run an elderly home in Biratngar of Morang district in association with local agencies. The NRNA Australia and Biratnagar Sub-Metropolis has reached an agreement to build an elderly home in ward number 11 of Biratnagar municipality. NRNA Australia and Biratnagar Sub- Metropolis have reached a deal for establishing, managing and operating Pathibhara Elederly Home. NRNA Australia President Mahendra Oli and Chief and Executive Office at Sub-Metropolis have signed the deal on 10 January. The building will be incepted at the land provided by the Sub-Metropolis. According to the agreement, electricity and water supply will be provided by the Sub- Metropolis whereas NRNA Australia will take all responsibilities of establishing the building and operating the elderly home. Modern recreational centre, library, garden and cow husbandry farm will also be established in the elderly home including ambulance service. NRNA Australia has been assisting in various charity works in Nepal for long. The elderly home will be managed and operated forming a management committee in cooperation with NRNA Australia and local agencies.
