Registered voters who are awaiting their Voter ID cards can cast their votes by furnishing their government ID cards, passports, citizenships and license ID cards. Voters who have lost their voter ID cards can also use other government ID cards for tomorrow’s election, a statement issued by the Election Commission said. Sending an SMS, the Election Commission also urged voters to exercise their voting rights.
The first phase of the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly elections were held on November 26 in 32 districts. Tomorrow, on December 7, voters from 45 districts will cast their votes for the same.
