Pushkar Shah, the famous Nepali cyclist who toured 150 countries, spanning from Asia to the Americas is in Melbourne, Australia. Mr. Shah also climbed the Mt. Everest in May, 2010. He probably needs no introduction amongst Nepalis. Apart from being an adventurist, Shah also is an international peace campaigner, democracy activist, and a cultural enthusiast.

On December 13th, Pushkar Shah was honoured by the Honorary Consulate General to Victoria from Nepal Chandra Yonzon at the Consulate Office. The Consulate General thanked Mr. Shah for his commitment and dedication towards making a positive change in the world and encouraged others to be as bold in their thoughts and actions. He wishes Mr. Shah the best in his future endeavours.

Mr. Shah presented his book ‘Sansarlai Sadhe Panch Fanko’ (Five and a half rounds of the world) to the Consulate Office. The book is a memoir of his travelling days – when he toured 150 countries on his bicycle.
